4. Purpose and legal basis for processing of personal data 
We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid reason (i.e. legal basis) to do so under applicable law, like with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to enter into or fulfil our contractual obligations, to protect your rights, or to fulfil our legitimate business interests. The purpose of processing website visitor data, including personal data, is to allow and ensure the website's technical functionality, improve the website and its design, fulfil legal obligations, communicate and maintain relationships with all the interest groups related to our business, and improve our marketing.

5. Standard sources of information 
The register’s standard sources of information are the technical data provided by the website visitor browser, visitor transactions and activities on the website, possible cookies, possible data repositories and other services connected to the website, as well as visitor-provided input data such as data written on the website contact form.

6. What information do we collect? 
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the website. This may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use the website, and other technical information. We may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.

In addition to the automated technical data collection, we collect personal information provided by you (the website contact form), which may include the following: names, phone numbers, email addresses, job information and any other user-provided information in the free text field of the contact form.

Except for the data collected via the contact form, Marginum doesn’t seek to identify individual users. The user should nevertheless acknowledge that, in some cases, the combination of data collected might make it possible to identify the user.

7. Will your data be shared with anyone? 
No personal data is transferred outside the EU or EEA. We will not sell the data for any purpose.

Data might be partially shared on a need basis for our partner companies (such as a marketing partner office working on our website) with a legally binding agreement to provide services for us to improve our marketing or other business functions. Shared data usage is strictly limited to being only used for improving our products, our own business functions or the marketing of our own products or services, or products or services sold by us.

When we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable legal requirement, we may disclose your personal information to law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties as required by law.

8. Principles of register protection 
The personal data processed in the marginum.com website are protected as required by legislation, considering data security requirements.

9. Right of inspection and right to request the deletion of data 
The data subject has the right to request that the controller provide them with the information of the stored data concerning the data subject, and the right to request removal of the data. The request must be submitted by email to dataprotectionofficer@marginum.com.

Please note that we cannot provide any information before or unless we can ensure the requester's identity as the data subject or its legal representative to prevent accidentally providing other users' data to an unknown third party. Please note that a legal or contractual obligation might prevent us from deleting the data.

The data subject has the right to contact the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman to request an inspection of the data.
